Hebrew Word Study Index || Search this website || Greek Word Study IndexThis bible study uses a Greek Unicode font and the Hebrew Unicode font "David" which comes with later versions of Windows, and is printer friendly. Introduction 2.3This is a thorough Greek word study about the meaning of the Greek word ἀκροβυστία, 'akrobustia' translated 'uncircumcision' (Strong's 203). It includes every verse where the word "akrobustia" (Strong's 203) appears in the New Testament. To obtain a true understanding of this word these scriptures need to be meditated on and notes made of their meaning in different contexts. This requires putting scriptures together where they seem to have a similar meaning, and then meditating even more. The truth will be revealed by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to guide us into all truth (John 16:13). Wherever this word akrobustia appears in the Greek, the translation of it is highlighted with bold type and underline. In Greek, with the exception of case endings, the suffixes and prepositions are not added to the basic word as in Hebrew, so these have not been been included in highlighted text. Every blessing be to those who seek the truth of God's word. #2.3 Scriptures for ἀκροβυστία (Gtr. akrobustia) meaning 'uncircumcision' Strong's 203Acts 11:3 Saying, You went in to uncircumcised men, and ate with them.
