Introduction 2.3

This is a thorough Greek word study about the meaning of the Greek word ἀκροβυστία, 'akrobustia' translated 'uncircumcision' (Strong's 203). It includes every verse where the word "akrobustia" (Strong's 203) appears in the New Testament. To obtain a true understanding of this word these scriptures need to be meditated on and notes made of their meaning in different contexts. This requires putting scriptures together where they seem to have a similar meaning, and then meditating even more. The truth will be revealed by the Holy Spirit, who has been given to guide us into all truth (John 16:13). Wherever this word akrobustia appears in the Greek, the translation of it is highlighted with bold type and underline. In Greek, with the exception of case endings, the suffixes and prepositions are not added to the basic word as in Hebrew, so these have not been been included in highlighted text. Every blessing be to those who seek the truth of God's word.

Romans 2:25 For circumcision indeed profits, if you keep the law: but if you are a breaker of the law, your circumcision becomes uncircumcision.
2:26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keeps the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
2:27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfils the law, judge you, who by the letter and circumcision transgress the law?
3:30 Seeing it is one God, who shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
4:9 Is this blessedness then on the circumcision only, or on the uncircumcision also? For we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.
4:10 How was it then reckoned? When he was in circumcision, or in uncircumcision? Not in circumcision, but in uncircumcision.
4:11 And he received the sign of circumcision, a seal of the righteousness of the faith which he had in uncircumcision: that he might be the father of all those who believe, though they are not circumcised; that righteousness might be imputed to them also:
4:12 And the father of circumcision to those who are not of the circumcision only, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had in uncircumcision.

1 Corinthians 7:18 Is any man called being circumcised? Do not let him become uncircumcised. Is any called in uncircumcision? Do not let him be circumcised.
7:19 Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

Galatians 2:7 But on the contrary, having seen that I have been entrusted with the gospel of the uncircumcision, according as Peter has of the circumcision;
5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love.
6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

Ephesians 2:11 Therefore remember, that you being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called uncircumcision by that which is called the circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, has he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
