LOGOS APOSTOLIC WEB-SITE LINKS

Here you will find some excellent web-site links to other sites, and some examples of how to link to pages on this site.

#1. Links to This Site

We welcome links to this web-site, and there are a number of ways in which you can do it. You can link directly to any page on this web-site by obtaining the URL from your browser when you visit it. Any of the studies on this site can be linked to in this way. The studies also have bookmarks on every section, and on every note, and on every introduction, so that these can be linked to directly.

The section links are generally like this:

http://logosapostolic.org/studies/FILENAME&#&SECTION-NUMBER

Some examples of linking to Sections

To link to section 5.2 in
“When is Divorce and Remarriage a Sin?”
http://logosapostolic.org/studies/RP2095-Fornication.htm#5.2
To link to section 2.1 in
“The Sin of Observing Christmas”
http://logosapostolic.org/studies/RP207Xmas.htm#2.1
To link to section 4.1 in
“No Pre-tribulation Rapture”
http://logosapostolic.org/studies/RP355Rapture4.htm#4.1

Note that in these examples the filenames have capital letters in them, and where this is so they must be capitals in the link also.

If you wish to link directly to a Note, or an Introduction, then for a note add “n” (lower case) and for an introduction add “i” (lower case). If the Note or the Introduction has a number then add that immediately after the “n” or the “i” without a space between.
The Note links are generally like this:

http://logosapostolic.org/studies/FILENAME&#&SECTION-NUMBER&n&NOTE-NUMBER

Some examples of linking to Notes

To link to Note 2 in section 2.17 of
“When is Divorce and Remarriage a Sin?”
http://logosapostolic.org/studies/RP2092-Immorality.htm#2.17n2

To link to the Note in section 1.2 of
“What Faith is”
http://logosapostolic.org/studies/RP110-1Faith.htm#1.2n

The Introduction links are similar but do not contain the section number and are generally like this:

http://logosapostolic.org/studies/FILENAME&#i&INTRODUCTION-NUMBER

Some examples of linking to Introductions

To link to Introduction 2.1 in section 2.1 of
“When is Watching Television a Sin?”
http://logosapostolic.org/studies/RP212Television.htm#i2.1
To link to the Introduction of Logos Apostolic Church of God “Articles of Faith” http://logosapostolic.org/studies/ArticlesofFaith.htm#i

Logos website also has a Greek - English/Textus Receptus - King James version, and when the Greek font is installed, each verse should give the English and the Greek side by side. Every verse in the New Testament is “book-marked” so that it can be linked to directly from other sites, or from your own personal computer. The links are generally like this:

http://logosapostolic.org/bibles/tr-kjv/BOOK/BOOK&CHAPTER-NUMBER.htm#VERSE-NUMBER

Each chapter and verse must be 2 digits, so when less that 10 it must be preceded by a "zero". Each book is abbreviated as below, and the whole URL is in lower case. Books with only one chapter such as Jude and 2 John still have a 2 digit chapter “01”, as well as the verse. Here are some examples:

Matthew 7v21 http://logosapostolic.org/bibles/tr-kjv/mat/mat07.htm#21
Jude v5 http://logosapostolic.org/bibles/tr-kjv/jude/jude01.htm#05
1 Timothy 4v16 http://logosapostolic.org/bibles/tr-kjv/ftim/ftim04.htm#16

The book abreviations are as on the site:
mat, mark, luke, john, acts, rom, fcor, scor, gal, eph, phps, col, fthes, sthes, ftim, stim, titus, phmn, heb, jam, fpet, spet, fjohn, sjohn, tjohn, jude, rev.

If you have any difficulties, or if you wish to link to any other place on this site which is not yet book-marked, we may be able to put one in for you if you contact the Bible College.

#2. Links To Other Sites

Introduction 2: The links to other web-sites which we have included below are provided as a general guide  to some good biblically sound information found on the Internet. This does not necessarily mean that we endorse every doctrine they lay out on their website, or in the linked article for that matter. Some of the articles on some of these sites we certainly disagree with, and what we believe is presented on this web-site. However, if we insisted on perfection with every website we would have no links at all, and would then miss out on seeing many excellent articles.
We advise you therefore, to please be careful and discerning as you read what is presented in the linked websites, as Jesus said, “Take heed that no man deceive you.” (Mat 24:4). Take the good and leave the bad, and like the Bereans of (Acts 17:11), search the Scriptures daily to see if what they say is so. Be careful if they add to God’s word, or draw conclusions that cannot be proved from scripture. At all times let God’s word be your final authority, and let the Holy Spirit be your guide into all truth (John 16:13).
“Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits whether they are from God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1)
“Test all things; hold firm to the good.” (1 Thes 5:21)
In linking to other sites we will not use any images that represent God, Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit, that we feel is a breach of the second commandment (Exo 20:4). Therefore we will not use any logo, or picture, or banner that contains a cross, or a dove, or a supposed picture of Jesus Christ, or a supposed Christian symbol. We sincerely hope that the links we have given will be a blessing to you.

 #2.1 Post Tribulation Rapture

The last days mystery banner

Last Days Mystery

This site by Richard Perry is devoted to the mystery of the last days, and is faithful to the scriptural truth that the Rapture will come after the great tribulation. Richard has written 2 books, “Of the Last Days: Listen, I tell you a Mystery”, and “The Complete Idiot’s Guide to the Last Days”. The end-times are obviously his specialty.

The end-time pilgrim banner

End-Time Pilgrim

This is a website by Dr. Gavin Finley, an Australian living in the USA. As the name suggests, Gavin expects the church to be here during the tribulation, and presents a scripture based devotional guide into Daniel’s seventieth week, and the climactic seven years of this age.
Jesus King of Kings

No Pre Trib Rapture

This web-site gives another thorough refutation of the post tribulation rapture theory by Mr. L.T. Keeble. Many good arguments based only on the Word of God.

Logos Apostolic Church

Logos Apostolic

“No Pre-Tribulation Rapture and No Mid-tribulation Rapture” is a study based rock solid on the Word of God, which thoroughly refutes the false teachings about Pre or Mid-Tribulation Raptures.

End time tribber

Tribber Board

This site is a listing for those who believe that the church will go through the tribulation, whether their view is the 7th Trumpet Gathering, Post-Tribulation, or Pre-Wrath.

#2.2 The Sabbath Day

Tomorrow’s World

Tomorrow’s World

This site contains an article about the Ten Commandments, which includes keeping the Sabbath day, and another called, “What is wrong with the Sabbath?” by Roderick C. Meredith. It also has an article called, “Did Jesus break the Sabbath?” by Rod Reynolds. From the linked page, go to the bottom and search “Sabbath” to find them.

Logos Apostolic Church

Logos Apostolic

A very thorough analysis refuting completely the idea that the apostles changed the day to “the first day of the week”, and proving conclusively that Jesus could not possibly have risen on Sunday morning. A rock solid defence for keeping the Sabbath day, answering almost every possible objection with scriptures.

The Ten Commandments

The Ten commandments

A short exhortation to keep the Sabbath day, and a list of almost 500 Sabbath keeping churches around the world.

Bible Study

Bible Study

Lots of interesting scripture based, and history based articles, showing us why we should keep the Sabbath day. A lot of awkward questions are given answers here.

#2.5 The Name “Jehovah”

Messianic site

Family Bible

A site by Rickard (Ari) Levitt Sawyer, a Jewish Messianic believer in Jesus Christ. He says that the name “Jehovah” is grammatically impossible to say in Hebrew or Aramaic - the letters to create those sounds simply do not exist in either the modern or ancient language of Israel and the Jews.

Logos Apostolic Church

Logos Apostolic

A study which traces the origin of the Name Jehovah, and shows it to be a false name for God. Much scriptural proof is included.

#2.7 Christian Ministries Supporting Orphans

Logos Apostolic Church

Logos Apostolic

A ministry which takes the task of helping orphans a serious part of Christian life (James 1:27).

#2.8 Web Site Scams Against Christian Ministries

Office of Fair trading

Office of Fair Trading

Be warned that the Devil has plans to rob Christian ministries of their funds. We should not be ignorant of the Devil's devices (2 Corinthians 2:11), so take a look at his plan, and then warn all your Christian friends who have a Web Site.

#2.9 International Church Directories

Apostolic Churches
