A Prayer for the Sick and Oppressed

#1. Join Our Prayer Team

We are looking for committed Christians who believe in Divine Healing, who know how to rebuke the Devil and sickness, and who are willing to give time to pray for the sick and oppressed, to join our prayer team. It does not matter which church or denomination you are part of, this is just an opportunity for you to obey the scriptures and help others:
(Mat 10:8) "Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons: freely you have received, freely give."
(Gal 6:10) "As therefore we have opportunity, let us do good to all men, especially to those who are of the household of faith."
(Jam 5:16) "Pray for one another that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous man avails much."
If you would like to join the prayer team, then please contact the Bible College and ask to be included on our prayer team.  When you do this you must include your Email address, because when prayer requests come in they will be sent directly to the Email address that you send us. Your Email address will not be available to others, and will not be accessible from the web-site, but you must be prepared to receive a number of Emails each day. We will request confirmation of your Email address before we include you in our prayer team, so that people cannot include you without your permission. If you are sick yourself, then consider joining the prayer team, because this will help with your healing:

#2. Request Prayer for the Sick and Oppressed

All prayers on this prayer line are done for the glory of God, and in the name of Jesus Christ. We pray for sick people without partiality, but God determines who he heals. We do not wish to know your religion or denomination in order to pray for you. In the scripture there were often conditions for a person to be healed (See the Divine Healing studies in the Study Index), and after they were healed there was an obligation on them to put their lives right with God.

(Matthew 12:43-45) " When the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest, and finds none.
Then he says, I will return into my house from where I came out; and when he comes, he finds it empty, swept, and put in order.
Then he goes, and takes with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they enter in and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first."

(John 5:14) "Afterward Jesus ... said to him, See, you have been made well, sin no more lest a worse thing comes upon you."

The above scriptures show that if a person was healed, even by Jesus himself, and did not put their life right with God, they could end up worse off than before. Every sick person who can do something to help themselves to receive their healing should spend as much time as possible studying the word of God (particularly studies on healing and faith) and praying also. If there is any sin in your life which has caused your sickness, then you may need to repent to get healed (See The Sins of the Modern Churches in the Study Index). Make sure that you know it is God's will to heal you (See RP 112-2).

If the prayer is for someone else who is a Christian, or even someone who does not believe in Jesus Christ, make sure that they know that people are praying for them in his name. It is always best to get their permission before you apply, as we should not try to heal them against their will. This will give them the opportunity to become a follower of Jesus when they are healed, and avoid a worse thing coming upon them if God does heal them and they refuse to follow Jesus.
