SCRIPTURES ON SPIRITUALISM
Taken from the New International Version of the Bible
"Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the LORD your God." (Leviticus 19:31)
"I will set my face against the person who turns to mediums and spiritists to prostitute himself by following them, and I will cut him off from his
people." (Leviticus 20:6)
"A man or woman who is a medium or a spiritist among you must be put to death." (Leviticus 20:27)
"Let no one be found among you who ... engages in witchcraft, Or casts
spells, or who is a medium or spiritist, or who consults the dead.
Anyone who does these things is detestable to the LORD," (Deuteronomy 18:10-12)
"Saul died because he was unfaithful to the LORD; he did not keep the word of the LORD, and even
consulted a medium for guidance," (1 Chronicles 10:13).

"He (King Menasseh) ... consulted
mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the eyes of the LORD, provoking him to anger." (2 Chronicles 33:6).
"When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter,
should not a people enquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf
of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this
word, they have no light of dawn." (Isaiah 8:19-20)
"The Egyptians ... will consult the idols and
the spirits of the dead, the mediums and the spiritists.
I will hand the Egyptians over to the power of a
cruel master, and a fierce king will rule over them, declares
the Lord, the LORD Almighty." (Isaiah 19:3-4).
"So do not listen to your prophets, your diviners, your interpreters of dreams, your mediums or your
sorcerers who tell you, ... You will not serve the king of Babylon. ... They prophesy lies to you." (Jeremiah 27:9-10).

Dear reader, the scriptures inside this leaflet show that if you have been
involved in spiritualism, then you have done something extremely evil in
the sight of God. You face a severe judgement and to be cast into hell
afterwards.
The good news is that Jesus Christ paid for your sin to be forgiven when he
died on the cross. So if you are willing to receive him as your Lord and
Saviour, and repent of your past sin, then God will forgive you, and
grant you the everlasting life with him that Jesus has died to provide
for you.
