| What's Wrong With Watching  Television? |
When God created man on this earth, there was only one thing that he told them not
to do: "of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat of it; for in the day
that you eat of it you will surely die." (Genesis 2:17). Adam and Eve failed this test and
brought a catastrophe upon all humanity, for when the knowledge of evil entered into this world it
brought death, sickness, suffering, pain, and all misery. When you obtain the knowledge of evil, it
will bring those things into your life. Modern man is no smarter than Adam, because they have planted what is equivalent to the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil" right in their own living rooms. It is called Television. The Devil is happy when you pollute yourselves with the knowledge of violence, adultery, fornication, witchcraft, and all other types of evil, because then he can use the words that you speak to bring evil things to pass on this earth. |
| God wants you only to have his wisdom and
knowledge, which you get from the bible, so that he can use you to do good things on the earth.
People become a product of what they learn, and God's judgement against modern man is: "You are
wise to do evil, but to do good you have no knowledge." (Jeremiah 4:22). He destroyed almost all mankind in the days of Noah because their thinking was evil (Genesis 6:5) and now he commands, "Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts;" (Isaiah 55:7). Dear friend, if you corrupted your thinking by watching worldly television programmes, then you need to repent before the judgement comes. (Hebrews 9:27) "It is appointed to men once to die, and after that the judgement." Fortunately God has made a way out for you through the sacrifice of his son Jesus Christ when he died on the cross. |
You can have all your
past sins forgiven, and your life changed dramatically now for the better. You can have eternal life,
