1. PRIDE
"The fear of the LORD is to hate evil; pride and arrogance" (Proverbs 8:13, Proverbs 16:18).
2. WRATH
"The wrath of man does not work the righteousness of God." (James 1:20, Proverbs 27:4)
3. ENVY
"Wrath is cruel, and anger is outrageous, but who can stand before envy?" Proverbs 27:4, James 3:16).
4. LUST
"Whoever looks on a woman to lust after her has committed
adultery already with her in his heart." (Matthew 5:27-28, 1 John 2:16)).

5. GLUTTONY
"for the drunkard and the glutton shall come to poverty,
and drowsiness shall clothe a man with rags." (Proverbs 23:21, Proverbs 23:1-3).
6. LOVE OF MONEY
"The love of money is the root of all evil, which while some coveted after, they
have erred from the faith." (1 Timothy 6:10, Matthew 26:14-16).
7. LAZINESS
"By much laziness the building decays, and through idleness of hands the house
drops through." (Ecclesiastes 10:18, Proverbs 19:15).

Dear reader, if you have done any of these seven deadly sins then you
are a sinner before God, heading for the day of Judgement, and hell after. The good news is
that when Jesus died on the cross he paid for your sin to be forgiven,
so receive him now as Lord and Saviour, and obtain the forgiveness that
he obtained for you.
"Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved," (Acts 16:31).
"Repent, and be baptised every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:38).
