Testimony index || Search this websiteMost people living in and around the city of Wolverhampton, England, know me, the local man called the Cowboy. In fact I have often approached people in the streets, giving my opinions about all sorts of things. Many preachers who have visited the city have also been on the receiving end of my "hatred" of religion. I hated Christians, and I persecuted them wherever I found them. Sometimes I would go out looking for them, attacking them in the streets both verbally, and sometimes physically, over a period of 25 years or more.
Dear reader, if you do not know Jesus Christ as your own personal Lord and Saviour, let me tell you now that when he died on the cross 2000 years ago, he paid for all of your sins to be forgiven. If you are willing to acknowledge your sins to God and repent of them, you can have the full forgiveness that Jesus obtained for you, and you can have peace with God through Jesus Christ. If you would like to receive this love from God that can transform your life, then I urge you to pray a prayer such as this one below right NOW, and mean it from the bottom of your heart. "Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ, and confess to you that I am a sinner. I am sorry for my past sins, and wish to forsake them. I ask you, in the name of Jesus, please forgive me for all my sins, and let Jesus come and dwell in my heart by faith. I thank you now for saving me, and ask you please to let me be led by your Spirit, so that I can live a life that pleases you. I thank you for it in Jesus name, Amen." To continue as a true believer you must follow the Lord Jesus Christ, and put into practice what he taught. Read your bible regularly, pray to God in Jesus name, and fellowship with other born-again believers. Testimony of HealingOn Saturday 1st March 2008, as I was riding my bicycle down a country road near Wombourne, Wolverhampton, I was hit by a car from behind. It was after
dark, and my back light had gone out, but I did not know. I was knocked over the top of the handlebars, and landed on the road near the footpath. I had a large
bang on the back of my head when it hit the kerb, and twisted my ankle. The driver stopped and asked me if I was OK when I got up. I said, "I will be all
right", and he drove off. In fact I had a headache and double vision, but I kept confessing that I was healed by the stripes of Jesus, as it says in the bible (1
Peter 2:24). The front wheel of my bicycle had a puncture, so I had to walk home about 5 or 6 miles home, but I was still confessing, "I am healed in the name of
Jesus." By the time I got home the double vision had disappeared, but I still had severe pain in the head, and in the left leg, and my left ankle was quite
swollen. I went to sleep in a chair. The next day some of the church people rang me up when I did not turn up for church. I refused to go to the hospital for
treatment, because I was determined to stand on the word of God in the bible. For three days I stood on the word of God, by faith (Mark 11:23-24), confessing
my healing by the stripes of Jesus, even though in the natural I still had the headache, the pain in my left leg, and a swollen left ankle. This is the end of the testimony of David William Cox. David is available to give his testimony in Churches in UK. If you would like him to come, please: If you have benefited from visiting this website, then please tell your friends about it.
