Colossians 4:1 Domini, quod justum est et æquum, servis præstate: scientes quod et vos Dominum habetis in cælo. Colossians 4:1 oi kurioi to dikaion kai thn isothta toij douloij parexesqe eidotej oti kai umeij exete kurion en ouranoij Colossians 4:1 Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
4:2 Orationi instate, vigilantes in ea in gratiarum actione: 4:2 th proseuxh proskartereite grhgorountej en auth en euxaristia 4:2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
4:3 orantes simul et pro nobis, ut Deus aperiat nobis ostium sermonis ad loquendum mysterium Christi (propter quod etiam vinctus sum), 4:3 proseuxomenoi ama kai peri hmwn ina o qeoj anoich hmin quran tou logou lalhsai to musthrion tou xristou di o kai dedemai 4:3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
4:4 ut manifestem illud ita ut oportet me loqui. 4:4 ina fanerwsw auto wj dei me lalhsai 4:4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
4:5 In sapientia ambulate ad eos, qui foris sunt: tempus redimentes. 4:5 en sofia peripateite proj touj ecw ton kairon ecagorazomenoi 4:5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
4:6 Sermo vester semper in gratia sale sit conditus, ut sciatis quomodo oporteat vos unicuique respondere. 4:6 o logoj umwn pantote en xariti alati hrtumenoj eidenai pwj dei umaj eni ekastw apokrinesqai 4:6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
4:7 Quæ circa me sunt, omnia vobis nota faciet Tychicus, carissimus frater, et fidelis minister, et conservus in Domino: 4:7 ta kat eme panta gnwrisei umin tuxikoj o agaphtoj adelfoj kai pistoj diakonoj kai sundouloj en kuriw 4:7 All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:
4:8 quem misi ad vos ad hoc ipsum, ut cognoscat quæ circa vos sunt, et consoletur corda vestra, 4:8 on epemya proj umaj eij auto touto ina gnw ta peri umwn kai parakalesh taj kardiaj umwn 4:8 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;
4:9 cum Onesimo carissimo, et fideli fratre, qui ex vobis est. Omnia, quæ hic aguntur, nota facient vobis. 4:9 sun onhsimw tw pistw kai agaphtw adelfw oj estin ec umwn panta umin gnwriousin ta wde 4:9 With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.
Colossians 4:10 Salutat vos Aristarchus concaptivus meus, et Marcus consobrinus Barnabæ, de quo accepistis mandata: si venerit ad vos, excipite illum: Colossians 4:10 aspazetai umaj aristarxoj o sunaixmalwtoj mou kai markoj o aneyioj barnaba peri ou elabete entolaj ean elqh proj umaj decasqe auton Colossians 4:10 Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)
4:11 et Jesus, qui dicitur Justus: qui sunt ex circumcisione: hi soli sunt adjutores mei in regno Dei, qui mihi fuerunt solatio. 4:11 kai ihsouj o legomenoj ioustoj oi ontej ek peritomhj outoi monoi sunergoi eij thn basileian tou qeou oitinej egenhqhsan moi parhgoria 4:11 And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
4:12 Salutat vos Epaphras, qui ex vobis est, servus Christi Jesu, semper sollicitus pro vobis in orationibus, ut stetis perfecti, et pleni in omni voluntate Dei. 4:12 aspazetai umaj epafraj o ec umwn douloj xristou pantote agwnizomenoj uper umwn en taij proseuxaij ina sthte teleioi kai peplhrwmenoi en panti qelhmati tou qeou 4:12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
4:13 Testimonium enim illi perhibeo quod habet multum laborem pro vobis, et pro iis qui sunt Laodiciæ, et qui Hierapoli. 4:13 marturw gar autw oti exei zhlon polun uper umwn kai twn en laodikeia kai twn en ierapolei 4:13 For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.
4:14 Salutat vos Lucas, medicus carissimus, et Demas. 4:14 aspazetai umaj loukaj o iatroj o agaphtoj kai dhmaj 4:14 Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.
4:15 Salutate fratres, qui sunt Laodiciæ, et Nympham, et quæ in domo ejus est, ecclesiam. 4:15 aspasasqe touj en laodikeia adelfouj kai numfan kai thn kat oikon autou ekklhsian 4:15 Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
4:16 Et cum lecta fuerit apud vos epistola hæc, facite ut et in Laodicensium ecclesia legatur: et eam, quæ Laodicensium est, vos legatis. 4:16 kai otan anagnwsqh par umin h epistolh poihsate ina kai en th laodikewn ekklhsia anagnwsqh kai thn ek laodikeiaj ina kai umeij anagnwte 4:16 And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.
4:17 Et dicite Archippo: Vide ministerium, quod accepisti in Domino, ut illud impleas. 4:17 kai eipate arxippw blepe thn diakonian hn parelabej en kuriw ina authn plhroij 4:17 And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.
4:18 Salutatio, mea manu Pauli. Memores estote vinculorum meorum. Gratia vobiscum. Amen. 4:18 o aspasmoj th emh xeiri paulou mnhmoneuete mou twn desmwn h xarij meq umwn amhn 4:18 The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.
