PHILIPPIANS CHAPTER 3

Latin VulgateGreek Textus ReceptusEnglish King James
Philippians 3:1 De cetero, fratres mei, gaudete in Domino. Eadem vobis scribere, mihi quidem non pigrum, vobis autem necessarium. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

3:3 Nos enim sumus circumcisio, qui spiritu servimus Deo, et gloriamur in Christo Jesu, et non in carne fiduciam habentes, 3:3 hmeij gar esmen h peritomh oi pneumati qew latreuontej kai kauxwmenoi en xristw ihsou kai ouk en sarki pepoiqotej 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
3:4 quamquam ego habeam confidentiam et in carne. Si quis alius videtur confidere in carne, ego magis, 3:4 kaiper egw exwn pepoiqhsin kai en sarki ei tij dokei alloj pepoiqenai en sarki egw mallon 3:4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinketh that he hath whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

3:7 Sed quæ mihi fuerunt lucra, hæc arbitratus sum propter Christum detrimenta. 3:7 all atina hn moi kerdh tauta hghmai dia ton xriston zhmian 3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
3:8 Verumtamen existimo omnia detrimentum esse propter eminentem scientiam Jesu Christi Domini mei: propter quem omnia detrimentum feci, et arbitror ut stercora, ut Christum lucrifaciam, 3:8 alla menounge kai hgoumai panta zhmian einai dia to uperexon thj gnwsewj xristou ihsou tou kuriou mou di on ta panta ezhmiwqhn kai hgoumai skubala einai ina xriston kerdhsw 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
