GALATIANS CHAPTER 6

Latin VulgateGreek Textus ReceptusEnglish King James
Galatians 6:1 Fratres, etsi præoccupatus fuerit homo in aliquo delicto, vos, qui spirituales estis, hujusmodi instruite in spiritu lenitatis, considerans teipsum, ne et tu tenteris. Galatians 6:1 adelfoi ean kai prolhfqh anqrwpoj en tini paraptwmati umeij oi pneumatikoi katartizete ton toiouton en pneumati praothtoj skopwn seauton mh kai su peirasqhj Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
6:2 Alter alterius onera portate, et sic adimplebitis legem Christi. 6:2 allhlwn ta barh bastazete kai outwj anaplhrwsate ton nomon tou xristou 6:2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.
6:3 ei gar dokei tij einai ti mhden wn eauton frenapata 6:3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
6:4 to de ergon eautou dokimazetw ekastoj kai tote eij eauton monon to kauxhma ecei kai ouk eij ton eteron 6:4 But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.
6:5 Unusquisque enim onus suum portabit. 6:5 ekastoj gar to idion fortion bastasei 6:5 For every man shall bear his own burden.
6:6 Communicet autem is qui catechizatur verbo, ei qui se catechizat, in omnibus bonis. 6:6 koinwneitw de o kathxoumenoj ton logon tw kathxounti en pasin agaqoij 6:6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.
6:7 Nolite errare: Deus non irridetur. 6:7 mh planasqe qeoj ou mukthrizetai o gar ean speirh anqrwpoj touto kai qerisei 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
6:8 oti o speirwn eij thn sarka eautou ek thj sarkoj qerisei fqoran o de speirwn eij to pneuma ek tou pneumatoj qerisei zwhn aiwnion 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
6:9 to de kalon poiountej mh ekkakwmen kairw gar idiw qerisomen mh ekluomenoi 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
6:13 oude gar oi peritemnomenoi autoi nomon fulassousin alla qelousin umaj peritemnesqai ina en th umetera sarki kauxhswntai 6:13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.
6:14 emoi de mh genoito kauxasqai ei mh en tw staurw tou kuriou hmwn ihsou xristou di ou emoi kosmoj estaurwtai kagw tw kosmw 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.
6:15 en gar xristw ihsou oute peritomh ti isxuei oute akrobustia alla kainh ktisij 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
