For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

5:7 Nolite ergo effici participes eorum. 5:7 mh oun ginesqe summetoxoi autwn 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.
Ut filii lucis ambulate: 5:8 hte gar pote skotoj nun de fwj en kuriw wj tekna fwtoj peripateite 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light:

5:12 Quæ enim in occulto fiunt ab ipsis, turpe est et dicere. 5:12 ta gar krufh ginomena up autwn aisxron estin kai legein 5:12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.
5:13 ta de panta elegxomena upo tou fwtoj faneroutai pan gar to faneroumenon fwj estin 5:13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

5:15 Videte itaque, fratres, quomodo caute ambuletis: non quasi insipientes, 5:15 blepete oun pwj akribwj peripateite mh wj asofoi all wj sofoi 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

5:22 Mulieres viris suis subditæ sint, sicut Domino: 5:22 ai gunaikej toij idioij andrasin upotassesqe wj tw kuriw 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
5:23 quoniam vir caput est mulieris, sicut Christus caput est Ecclesiæ: ipse, salvator corporis ejus. 5:23 oti o anhr estin kefalh thj gunaikoj wj kai o xristoj kefalh thj ekklhsiaj kai autoj estin swthr tou swmatoj 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.
5:24 all wsper h ekklhsia upotassetai tw xristw outwj kai ai gunaikej toij idioij andrasin en panti 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
5:25 Viri, diligite uxores vestras, sicut et Christus dilexit Ecclesiam, et seipsum tradidit pro ea, 5:25 oi andrej agapate taj gunaikaj eautwn kaqwj kai o xristoj hgaphsen thn ekklhsian kai eauton paredwken uper authj 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

5:27 ina parasthsh authn eautw endocon thn ekklhsian mh exousan spilon h rutida h ti twn toioutwn all ina h agia kai amwmoj 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
He that loveth his wife loveth himself.
5:29 Nemo enim umquam carnem suam odio habuit: sed nutrit et fovet eam, sicut et Christus Ecclesiam: 5:29 oudeij gar pote thn eautou sarka emishsen all ektrefei kai qalpei authn kaqwj kai o kurioj thn ekklhsian 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

5:31 Propter hoc relinquet homo patrem et matrem suam, et adhærebit uxori suæ, et erunt duo in carne una. 5:31 anti toutou kataleiyei anqrwpoj ton patera autou kai thn mhtera kai proskollhqhsetai proj thn gunaika autou kai esontai oi duo eij sarka mian 5:31 For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.
5:32 to musthrion touto mega estin egw de legw eij xriston kai eij thn ekklhsian 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
5:33 Verumtamen et vos singuli, unusquisque uxorem suam sicut seipsum diligat: uxor autem timeat virum suum. 5:33 plhn kai umeij oi kaq ena ekastoj thn eautou gunaika outwj agapatw wj eauton h de gunh ina fobhtai ton andra 5:33 Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.
