Ephesians 3:1 Hujus rei gratia, ego Paulus vinctus Christi Jesu, pro vobis gentibus, Ephesians 3:1 toutou xarin egw pauloj o desmioj tou xristou ihsou uper umwn twn eqnwn Ephesians 3:1 For this cause I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles,
3:2 si tamen audistis dispensationem gratiæ Dei, quæ data est mihi in vobis: 3:2 eige hkousate thn oikonomian thj xaritoj tou qeou thj doqeishj moi eij umaj 3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
3:3 quoniam secundum revelationem notum mihi factum est sacramentum, sicut supra scripsi in brevi, 3:3 oti kata apokaluyin egnwrisen moi to musthrion kaqwj proegraya en oligw 3:3 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (as I wrote afore in few words,
3:4 prout potestis legentes intelligere prudentiam meam in mysterio Christi: 3:4 proj o dunasqe anaginwskontej nohsai thn sunesin mou en tw musthriw tou xristou 3:4 Whereby, when ye read, ye may understand my knowledge in the mystery of Christ)
3:5 quod aliis generationibus non est agnitum filiis hominum, sicuti nunc revelatum est sanctis apostolis ejus et prophetis in Spiritu, 3:5 o en eteraij geneaij ouk egnwrisqh toij uioij twn anqrwpwn wj nun apekalufqh toij agioij apostoloij autou kai profhtaij en pneumati 3:5 Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit;
3:6 gentes esse cohæredes, et concorporales, et comparticipes promissionis ejus in Christo Jesu per Evangelium: 3:6 einai ta eqnh sugklhronoma kai susswma kai summetoxa thj epaggeliaj autou en tw xristw dia tou euaggeliou 3:6 That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:
3:7 cujus factus sum minister secundum donum gratiæ Dei, quæ data est mihi secundum operationem virtutis ejus. 3:7 ou egenomhn diakonoj kata thn dwrean thj xaritoj tou qeou thn doqeisan moi kata thn energeian thj dunamewj autou 3:7 Whereof I was made a minister, according to the gift of the grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of his power.
3:8 Mihi omnium sanctorum minimo data est gratia hæc, in gentibus evangelizare investigabiles divitias Christi, 3:8 emoi tw elaxistoterw pantwn twn agiwn edoqh h xarij auth en toij eqnesin euaggelisasqai ton anecixniaston plouton tou xristou 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ;
3:9 et illuminare omnes, quæ sit dispensatio sacramenti absconditi a sæculis in Deo, qui omnia creavit: 3:9 kai fwtisai pantaj tij h koinwnia tou musthriou tou apokekrummenou apo twn aiwnwn en tw qew tw ta panta ktisanti dia ihsou xristou 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
Ephesians 3:10 ut innotescat principatibus et potestatibus in cælestibus per Ecclesiam, multiformis sapientia Dei, Ephesians 3:10 ina gnwrisqh nun taij arxaij kai taij ecousiaij en toij epouranioij dia thj ekklhsiaj h polupoikiloj sofia tou qeou Ephesians 3:10 To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
3:11 secundum præfinitionem sæculorum, quam fecit in Christo Jesu Domino nostro: 3:11 kata proqesin twn aiwnwn hn epoihsen en xristw ihsou tw kuriw hmwn 3:11 According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:
3:12 in quo habemus fiduciam, et accessum in confidentia per fidem ejus. 3:12 en w exomen thn parrhsian kai thn prosagwghn en pepoiqhsei dia thj pistewj autou 3:12 In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him.
3:13 Propter quod peto ne deficiatis in tribulationibus meis pro vobis: quæ est gloria vestra. 3:13 dio aitoumai mh ekkakein en taij qliyesin mou uper umwn htij estin doca umwn 3:13 Wherefore I desire that ye faint not at my tribulations for you, which is your glory.
3:14 Hujus rei gratia flecto genua mea ad Patrem Domini nostri Jesu Christi, 3:14 toutou xarin kamptw ta gonata mou proj ton patera tou kuriou hmwn ihsou xristou 3:14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
3:15 ex quo omnis paternitas in cælis et in terra nominatur, 3:15 ec ou pasa patria en ouranoij kai epi ghj onomazetai 3:15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
3:16 ut det vobis secundum divitias gloriæ suæ, virtute corroborari per Spiritum ejus in interiorem hominem, 3:16 ina dwh umin kata ton plouton thj dochj autou dunamei krataiwqhnai dia tou pneumatoj autou eij ton esw anqrwpon 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
3:17 Christum habitare per fidem in cordibus vestris: in caritate radicati, et fundati, 3:17 katoikhsai ton xriston dia thj pistewj en taij kardiaij umwn 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
3:18 ut possitis comprehendere cum omnibus sanctis, quæ sit latitudo, et longitudo, et sublimitas, et profundum: 3:18 en agaph errizwmenoi kai teqemeliwmenoi ina ecisxushte katalabesqai sun pasin toij agioij ti to platoj kai mhkoj kai baqoj kai uyoj 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
3:19 scire etiam supereminentem scientiæ caritatem Christi, ut impleamini in omnem plenitudinem Dei. 3:19 gnwnai te thn uperballousan thj gnwsewj agaphn tou xristou ina plhrwqhte eij pan to plhrwma tou qeou 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
Ephesians 3:20 Ei autem, qui potens est omnia facere superabundanter quam petimus aut intelligimus, secundum virtutem, quæ operatur in nobis: Ephesians 3:20 tw de dunamenw uper panta poihsai uper ekperissou wn aitoumeqa h nooumen kata thn dunamin thn energoumenhn en hmin Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
3:21 ipsi gloria in Ecclesia, et in Christo Jesu, in omnes generationes sæculi sæculorum. Amen. 3:21 autw h doca en th ekklhsia en xristw ihsou eij pasaj taj geneaj tou aiwnoj twn aiwnwn amhn 3:21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
