8:2 twn agiwn leitourgoj kai thj skhnhj thj alhqinhj hn ephcen o kurioj kai ouk anqrwpoj 8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.
8:3 paj gar arxiereuj eij to prosferein dwra te kai qusiaj kaqistatai oqen anagkaion exein ti kai touton o prosenegkh 8:3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

8:5 oitinej upodeigmati kai skia latreuousin twn epouraniwn kaqwj kexrhmatistai mwshj mellwn epitelein thn skhnhn ora gar fhsin poihshj panta kata ton tupon ton deixqenta soi en tw orei 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
8:6 nuni de diaforwteraj teteuxen leitourgiaj osw kai kreittonoj estin diaqhkhj mesithj htij epi kreittosin epaggeliaij nenomoqethtai 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

8:9 ou kata thn diaqhkhn hn epoihsa toij patrasin autwn en hmera epilabomenou mou thj xeiroj autwn ecagagein autouj ek ghj aiguptou oti autoi ouk enemeinan en th diaqhkh mou kagw hmelhsa autwn legei kurioj 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
Hebrews 8:10 Quia hoc est testamentum quod disponam domui Israël post dies illos, dicit Dominus: dando leges meas in mentem eorum, et in corde eorum superscribam eas: et ero eis in Deum, et ipsi erunt mihi in populum: Hebrews 8:10 oti auth h diaqhkh hn diaqhsomai tw oikw israhl meta taj hmeraj ekeinaj legei kurioj didouj nomouj mou eij thn dianoian autwn kai epi kardiaj autwn epigrayw autouj kai esomai autoij eij qeon kai autoi esontai moi eij laon Hebrews 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
