Mark Chapter 3

Mark 3:1 kai eishlqen palin eij thn sunagwghn kai hn ekei anqrwpoj echrammenhn exwn thn xeira Mark 3:1 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.
3:2 kai parethroun auton ei toij sabbasin qerapeusei auton ina kathgorhswsin autou 3:2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.
3:3 kai legei tw anqrwpw tw echrammenhn exonti thn xeira egeirai eij to meson 3:3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.
3:4 kai legei autoij ecestin toij sabbasin agaqopoihsai h kakopoihsai yuxhn swsai h apokteinai oi de esiwpwn 3:4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
3:5 kai peribleyamenoj autouj met orghj sullupoumenoj epi th pwrwsei thj kardiaj autwn legei tw anqrwpw ekteinon thn xeira sou kai eceteinen kai apokatestaqh h xeir autou ugihj wj h allh 3:5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
3:6 kai ecelqontej oi farisaioi euqewj meta twn hrwdianwn sumboulion epoioun kat autou opwj auton apoleswsin 3:6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
3:7 kai o ihsouj anexwrhsen meta twn maqhtwn autou proj thn qalassan kai polu plhqoj apo thj galilaiaj hkolouqhsan autw kai apo thj ioudaiaj 3:7 But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,
3:8 kai apo ierosolumwn kai apo thj idoumaiaj kai peran tou iordanou kai oi peri turon kai sidwna plhqoj polu akousantej osa epoiei hlqon proj auton 3:8 And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.
3:9 kai eipen toij maqhtaij autou ina ploiarion proskarterh autw dia ton oxlon ina mh qlibwsin auton 3:9 And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
Mark 3:10 pollouj gar eqerapeusen wste epipiptein autw ina autou aywntai osoi eixon mastigaj Mark 3:10 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.
3:11 kai ta pneumata ta akaqarta otan auton eqewrei prosepipten autw kai ekrazen legonta oti su ei o uioj tou qeou 3:11 And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
3:12 kai polla epetima autoij ina mh auton faneron poihswsin 3:12 And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.
3:13 kai anabainei eij to oroj kai proskaleitai ouj hqelen autoj kai aphlqon proj auton 3:13 And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.
3:14 kai epoihsen dwdeka ina wsin met autou kai ina apostellh autouj khrussein 3:14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,
3:15 kai exein ecousian qerapeuein taj nosouj kai ekballein ta daimonia 3:15 And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:
3:16 kai epeqhken tw simwni onoma petron 3:16 And Simon he surnamed Peter;
3:17 kai iakwbon ton tou zebedaiou kai iwannhn ton adelfon tou iakwbou kai epeqhken autoij onomata boanergej o estin uioi bronthj 3:17 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:
3:18 kai andrean kai filippon kai barqolomaion kai matqaion kai qwman kai iakwbon ton tou alfaiou kai qaddaion kai simwna ton kananithn 3:18 And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
3:19 kai ioudan iskariwthn oj kai paredwken auton kai erxontai eij oikon 3:19 And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.
Mark 3:20 kai sunerxetai palin oxloj wste mh dunasqai autouj mhte arton fagein Mark 3:20 And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
3:21 kai akousantej oi par autou echlqon krathsai auton elegon gar oti ecesth 3:21 And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.
3:22 kai oi grammateij oi apo ierosolumwn katabantej elegon oti beelzeboul exei kai oti en tw arxonti twn daimoniwn ekballei ta daimonia 3:22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.
3:23 kai proskalesamenoj autouj en parabolaij elegen autoij pwj dunatai satanaj satanan ekballein 3:23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?
3:24 kai ean basileia ef eauthn merisqh ou dunatai staqhnai h basileia ekeinh 3:24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
3:25 kai ean oikia ef eauthn merisqh ou dunatai staqhnai h oikia ekeinh 3:25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
3:26 kai ei o satanaj anesth ef eauton kai memeristai ou dunatai staqhnai alla teloj exei 3:26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
3:27 ou dunatai oudeij ta skeuh tou isxurou eiselqwn eij thn oikian autou diarpasai ean mh prwton ton isxuron dhsh kai tote thn oikian autou diarpasei 3:27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
3:28 amhn legw umin oti panta afeqhsetai ta amarthmata toij uioij twn anqrwpwn kai blasfhmiai osaj an blasfhmhswsin 3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
3:29 oj d an blasfhmhsh eij to pneuma to agion ouk exei afesin eij ton aiwna all enoxoj estin aiwniou krisewj 3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
Mark 3:30 oti elegon pneuma akaqarton exei Mark 3:30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
3:31 erxontai oun oi adelfoi kai h mhthr autou kai ecw estwtej apesteilan proj auton fwnountej auton 3:31 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.
3:32 kai ekaqhto oxloj peri auton eipon de autw idou h mhthr sou kai oi adelfoi sou ecw zhtousin se 3:32 And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
3:33 kai apekriqh autoij legwn tij estin h mhthr mou h oi adelfoi mou 3:33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
3:34 kai peribleyamenoj kuklw touj peri auton kaqhmenouj legei ide h mhthr mou kai oi adelfoi mou 3:34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
3:35 oj gar an poihsh to qelhma tou qeou outoj adelfoj mou kai adelfh mou kai mhthr estin 3:35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
