2 CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 13

Latin VulgateGreek Textus ReceptusEnglish King James
2 Corinthians 13:1 Ecce tertio hoc venio ad vos: in ore duorum vel trium testium stabit omne verbum. 2 Corinthians 13:1 triton touto erxomai proj umaj epi stomatoj duo marturwn kai triwn staqhsetai pan rhma 2 Corinthians 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
13:2 Prædixi, et prædico, ut præsens, et nunc absens iis qui ante peccaverunt, et ceteris omnibus, quoniam si venero iterum, non parcam. 13:2 proeirhka kai prolegw wj parwn to deuteron kai apwn nun grafw toij prohmarthkosin kai toij loipoij pasin oti ean elqw eij to palin ou feisomai 13:2 I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:
13:3 An experimentum quæritis ejus, qui in me loquitur Christus, qui in vobis non infirmatur, sed potens est in vobis? 13:3 epei dokimhn zhteite tou en emoi lalountoj xristou oj eij umaj ouk asqenei alla dunatei en umin 13:3 Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you.
13:4 Nam etsi crucifixus est ex infirmitate: sed vivit ex virtute Dei. Nam et nos infirmi sumus in illo: sed vivemus cum eo ex virtute Dei in vobis. 13:4 kai gar ei estaurwqh ec asqeneiaj alla zh ek dunamewj qeou kai gar kai hmeij asqenoumen en autw alla zhsomeqa sun autw ek dunamewj qeou eij umaj 13:4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.
13:5 Vosmetipsos tentate si estis in fide: ipsi vos probate. An non cognoscitis vosmetipsos quia Christus Jesus in vobis est? nisi forte reprobi estis. 13:5 eautouj peirazete ei este en th pistei eautouj dokimazete h ouk epiginwskete eautouj oti ihsouj xristoj en umin estin ei mh ti adokimoi este 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. 13:9 Gaudemus enim, quoniam nos infirmi sumus, vos autem potentes estis.
