1:13 Nolo autem vos ignorare fratres: quia sæpe proposui venire ad vos (et prohibitus sum usque adhuc) ut aliquem fructum habeam et in vobis, sicut et in ceteris gentibus. 1:13 ou qelw de umaj agnoein adelfoi oti pollakij proeqemhn elqein proj umaj kai ekwluqhn axri tou deuro ina karpon tina sxw kai en umin kaqwj kai en toij loipoij eqnesin 1:13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles.
1:14 Græcis ac barbaris, sapientibus, et insipientibus debitor sum: 1:14 ellhsin te kai barbaroij sofoij te kai anohtoij ofeilethj eimi 1:14 I am debtor both to the Greeks, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise.

1:16 Non enim erubesco Evangelium. 1:17 Justitia enim Dei in eo revelatur ex fide in fidem: sicut scriptum est: Justus autem ex fide vivit. 1:17 dikaiosunh gar qeou en autw apokaluptetai ek pistewj eij pistin kaqwj gegraptai o de dikaioj ek pistewj zhsetai 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
1:18 Revelatur enim ira Dei de cælo super omnem impietatem, et injustitiam hominum eorum, qui veritatem Dei in injustitia detinent: 1:18 apokaluptetai gar orgh qeou ap ouranou epi pasan asebeian kai adikian anqrwpwn twn thn alhqeian en adikia katexontwn 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

Romans 1:20 Invisibilia enim ipsius, a creatura mundi, per ea quæ facta sunt, intellecta, conspiciuntur: sempiterna quoque ejus virtus, et divinitas: ita ut sint inexcusabiles. 1:21 Quia cum cognovissent Deum, non sicut Deum glorificaverunt, aut gratias egerunt: sed evanuerunt in cogitationibus suis, et obscuratum est insipiens cor eorum: 1:21 dioti gnontej ton qeon oux wj qeon edocasan h euxaristhsan all emataiwqhsan en toij dialogismoij autwn kai eskotisqh h asunetoj autwn kardia 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
