Revelation 2:1 Angelo Ephesi ecclesiæ scribe: Hæc dicit, qui tenet septem stellas in dextera sua, qui ambulat in medio septem candelabrorum aureorum: Revelation 2:1 tw aggelw thj efesinhj ekklhsiaj grayon tade legei o kratwn touj epta asteraj en th decia autou o peripatwn en mesw twn epta luxniwn twn xruswn Revelation 2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2:2 Scio opera tua, et laborem, et patientiam tuam, et quia non potes sustinere malos: et tentasti eos, qui se dicunt apostolos esse, et non sunt: et invenisti eos mendaces: 2:2 oida ta erga sou kai ton kopon sou kai thn upomonhn sou kai oti ou dunh bastasai kakouj kai epeirasw touj faskontaj einai apostolouj kai ouk eisin kai eurej autouj yeudeij 2:2 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars:

2:4 Sed habeo adversum te, quod caritatem tuam primam reliquisti. 2:4 all exw kata sou oti thn agaphn sou thn prwthn afhkaj 2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.
2:5 Memor esto itaque unde excideris: et age pœnitentiam, et prima opera fac: sin autem, venio tibi, et movebo candelabrum tuum de loco suo, nisi pœnitentiam egeris. 2:5 mnhmoneue oun poqen ekpeptwkaj kai metanohson kai ta prwta erga poihson ei de mh erxomai soi taxu kai kinhsw thn luxnian sou ek tou topou authj ean mh metanohshj 2:5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.
2:6 Sed hoc habes, quia odisti facta Nicolaitarum, quæ et ego odi. 2:6 alla touto exeij oti miseij ta erga twn nikolaitwn a kagw misw 2:6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
2:7 Qui habet aurem, audiat quid Spiritus dicat ecclesiis: Vincenti dabo edere de ligno vitæ, quod est in paradiso Dei mei. 2:7 o exwn ouj akousatw ti to pneuma legei taij ekklhsiaij tw nikwnti dwsw autw fagein ek tou culou thj zwhj o estin en mesw tou paradeisou tou qeou 2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
2:8 Et angelo Smyrnæ ecclesiæ scribe: Hæc dicit primus, et novissimus, qui fuit mortuus, et vivit: 2:8 kai tw aggelw thj ekklhsiaj smurnaiwn grayon tade legei o prwtoj kai o esxatoj oj egeneto nekroj kai ezhsen 2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
2:9 Scio tribulationem tuam, et paupertatem tuam, sed dives es: et blasphemaris ab his, qui se dicunt Judæos esse, et non sunt, sed sunt synagoga Satanæ. 2:9 oida sou ta erga kai thn qliyin kai thn ptwxeian plousioj de ei kai thn blasfhmian twn legontwn ioudaiouj einai eautouj kai ouk eisin alla sunagwgh tou satana 2:9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and i know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
Revelation 2:10 Nihil horum timeas quæ passurus es. Ecce missurus est diabolus aliquos ex vobis in carcerem ut tentemini: et habebitis tribulationem diebus decem. Esto fidelis usque ad mortem, et dabo tibi coronam vitæ. Revelation 2:10 mhden fobou a melleij pasxein idou mellei balein ec umwn o diaboloj eij fulakhn ina peirasqhte kai ecete qliyin hmerwn deka ginou pistoj axri qanatou kai dwsw soi ton stefanon thj zwhj Revelation 2:10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.
2:11 Qui habet aurem, audiat quid Spiritus dicat ecclesiis: Qui vicerit, non lædetur a morte secunda. 2:11 o exwn ouj akousatw ti to pneuma legei taij ekklhsiaij o nikwn ou mh adikhqh ek tou qanatou tou deuterou 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.
2:12 Et angelo Pergami ecclesiæ scribe: Hæc dicit qui habet rhomphæam utraque parte acutam: 2:12 kai tw aggelw thj en pergamw ekklhsiaj grayon tade legei o exwn thn romfaian thn distomon thn oceian 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;
2:13 Scio ubi habitas, ubi sedes est Satanæ: et tenes nomen meum, et non negasti fidem meam. Et in diebus illis Antipas testis meus fidelis, qui occisus est apud vos ubi Satanas habitat. 2:13 oida ta erga sou kai pou katoikeij opou o qronoj tou satana kai krateij to onoma mou kai ouk hrnhsw thn pistin mou kai en taij hmeraij en aij antipaj o martuj mou o pistoj oj apektanqh par umin opou katoikei o satanaj 2:13 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan's seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.
2:14 Sed habeo aversus te pauca: quia habes illic tenentes doctrinam Balaam, qui docebat Balac mittere scandalum coram filiis Israël, edere, et fornicari: 2:14 all exw kata sou oliga oti exeij ekei kratountaj thn didaxhn balaam oj edidasken ton balak balein skandalon enwpion twn uiwn israhl fagein eidwloquta kai porneusai 2:14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
2:15 ita habes et tu tenentes doctrinam Nicolaitarum. 2:15 outwj exeij kai su kratountaj thn didaxhn twn nikolaitwn o misw 2:15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.
2:16 Similiter pœnitentiam age: si quominus veniam tibi cito, et pugnabo cum illis in gladio oris mei. 2:16 metanohson ei de mh erxomai soi taxu kai polemhsw met autwn en th romfaia tou stomatoj mou 2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
2:17 Qui habet aurem, audiat quid Spiritus dicat ecclesiis: Vincenti dabo manna absconditum, et dabo illi calculum candidum: et in calculo nomen novum scriptum, quod nemo scit, nisi qui accipit. 2:17 o exwn ouj akousatw ti to pneuma legei taij ekklhsiaij tw nikwnti dwsw autw fagein apo tou manna tou kekrummenou kai dwsw autw yhfon leukhn kai epi thn yhfon onoma kainon gegrammenon o oudeij egnw ei mh o lambanwn 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
2:18 Et angelo Thyatiræ ecclesiæ scribe: Hæc dicit Filius Dei, qui habet oculos tamquam flammam ignis, et pedes ejus similes auricalco: 2:18 kai tw aggelw thj en quateiroij ekklhsiaj grayon tade legei o uioj tou qeou o exwn touj ofqalmouj autou wj floga puroj kai oi podej autou omoioi xalkolibanw 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
2:19 Novi opera tua, et fidem, et caritatem tuam, et ministerium, et patientiam tuam, et opera tua novissima plura prioribus. 2:19 oida sou ta erga kai thn agaphn kai thn diakonian kai thn pistin kai thn upomonhn sou kai ta erga sou kai ta esxata pleiona twn prwtwn 2:19 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.
Revelation 2:20 Sed habeo adversus te pauca: quia permittis mulierem Jezabel, quæ se dicit propheten, docere, et seducere servos meos, fornicari, et manducare de idolothytis. Revelation 2:20 all exw kata sou oliga oti eaj thn gunaika iezabhl thn legousan eauthn profhtin didaskein kai planasqai emouj doulouj porneusai kai eidwloquta fagein Revelation 2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
2:21 Et dedi illi tempus ut pœnitentiam ageret: et non vult pœnitere a fornicatione sua. 2:21 kai edwka auth xronon ina metanohsh ek thj porneiaj authj kai ou metenohsen 2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
2:22 Ecce mittam eam in lectum: et qui mœchantur cum ea, in tribulatione maxima erunt, nisi pœnitentiam ab operibus suis egerint. 2:22 idou egw ballw authn eij klinhn kai touj moixeuontaj met authj eij qliyin megalhn ean mh metanohswsin ek twn ergwn autwn 2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
2:23 Et filios ejus interficiam in morte, et scient omnes ecclesiæ, quia ego sum scrutans renes, et corda: et dabo unicuique vestrum secundum opera sua. Vobis autem dico, 2:23 kai ta tekna authj apoktenw en qanatw kai gnwsontai pasai ai ekklhsiai oti egw eimi o ereunwn nefrouj kai kardiaj kai dwsw umin ekastw kata ta erga umwn 2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
2:24 et ceteris qui Thyatiræ estis: quicumque non habent doctrinam hanc, et qui non cognoverunt altitudines Satanæ, quemadmodum dicunt, non mittam super vos aliud pondus: 2:24 umin de legw kai loipoij toij en quateiroij osoi ouk exousin thn didaxhn tauthn kai oitinej ouk egnwsan ta baqh tou satana wj legousin ou balw ef umaj allo baroj 2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.
2:25 tamen id quod habetis, tenete donec veniam. 2:25 plhn o exete krathsate axrij ou an hcw 2:25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
2:26 Et qui vicerit, et custodierit usque in finem opera mea, dabo illi potestatem super gentes, 2:26 kai o nikwn kai o thrwn axri telouj ta erga mou dwsw autw ecousian epi twn eqnwn 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
2:27 et reget eas in virga ferrea, et tamquam vas figuli confringentur, 2:27 kai poimanei autouj en rabdw sidhra wj ta skeuh ta keramika suntribetai wj kagw eilhfa para tou patroj mou 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
2:28 sicut et ego accepi a Patre meo: et dabo illi stellam matutinam. 2:28 kai dwsw autw ton astera ton prwinon 2:28 And I will give him the morning star.
2:29 Qui habet aurem, audiat quid Spiritus dicat ecclesiis. 2:29 o exwn ouj akousatw ti to pneuma legei taij ekklhsiaij 2:29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
