Revelation 6:1 Et vidi quod aperuisset Agnus unum de septem sigillis, et audivi unum de quatuor animalibus, dicens tamquam vocem tonitrui: Veni, et vide. Revelation 6:1 kai eidon ote hnoicen to arnion mian ek twn sfragidwn kai hkousa enoj ek twn tessarwn zwwn legontoj wj fwnhj bronthj erxou kai blepe Revelation 6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
6:2 Et vidi: et ecce equus albus, et qui sedebat super illum, habebat arcum, et data est ei corona, et exivit vincens ut vinceret. 6:2 kai eidon kai idou ippoj leukoj kai o kaqhmenoj ep autw exwn tocon kai edoqh autw stefanoj kai echlqen nikwn kai ina nikhsh 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
6:3 Et cum aperuisset sigillum secundum, audivi secundum animal, dicens: Veni, et vide. 6:3 kai ote hnoicen thn deuteran sfragida hkousa tou deuterou zwou legontoj erxou kai blepe 6:3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
6:4 Et exivit alius equus rufus: et qui sedebat super illum, datum est ei ut sumeret pacem de terra, et ut invicem se interficiant, et datus est ei gladius magnus. 6:4 kai echlqen alloj ippoj purroj kai tw kaqhmenw ep autw edoqh autw labein thn eirhnhn apo thj ghj kai ina allhlouj sfacwsin kai edoqh autw maxaira megalh 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
6:5 Et cum aperuisset sigillum tertium, audivi tertium animal, dicens: Veni, et vide. Et ecce equus niger: et qui sedebat super illum, habebat stateram in manu sua. 6:5 kai ote hnoicen thn trithn sfragida hkousa tou tritou zwou legontoj erxou kai blepe kai eidon kai idou ippoj melaj kai o kaqhmenoj ep autw exwn zugon en th xeiri autou 6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6:6 Et audivi tamquam vocem in medio quatuor animalium dicentium: Bilibris tritici denario et tres bilibres hordei denario, et vinum, et oleum ne læseris. 6:6 kai hkousa fwnhn en mesw twn tessarwn zwwn legousan xoinic sitou dhnariou kai treij xoinikej kriqhj dhnariou kai to elaion kai ton oinon mh adikhshj 6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
6:7 Et cum aperuisset sigillum quartum, audivi vocem quarti animalis dicentis: Veni, et vide. 6:7 kai ote hnoicen thn sfragida thn tetarthn hkousa fwnhn tou tetartou zwou legousan erxou kai blepe 6:7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
6:8 Et ecce equus pallidus: et qui sedebat super eum, nomen illi Mors, et infernus sequebatur eum, et data est illi potestas super quatuor partes terræ, interficere gladio, fame, et morte, et bestiis terræ. 6:8 kai eidon kai idou ippoj xlwroj kai o kaqhmenoj epanw autou onoma autw o qanatoj kai o adhj akolouqei met autou kai edoqh autoij ecousia apokteinai epi to tetarton thj ghj en romfaia kai en limw kai en qanatw kai upo twn qhriwn thj ghj 6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
6:9 Et cum aperuisset sigillum quintum, vidi subtus altare animas interfectorum propter verbum Dei, et propter testimonium, quod habebant: 6:9 kai ote hnoicen thn pempthn sfragida eidon upokatw tou qusiasthriou taj yuxaj twn esfagmenwn dia ton logon tou qeou kai dia thn marturian hn eixon 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
Revelation 6:10 et clamabant voce magna, dicentes: Usquequo Domine (sanctus et verus), non judicas, et non vindicas sanguinem nostrum de iis qui habitant in terra? Revelation 6:10 kai ekrazon fwnh megalh legontej ewj pote o despothj o agioj kai o alhqinoj ou krineij kai ekdikeij to aima hmwn apo twn katoikountwn epi thj ghj Revelation 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
6:11 Et datæ sunt illis singulæ stolæ albæ: et dictum est illis ut requiescerent adhuc tempus modicum donec compleantur conservi eorum, et fratres eorum, qui interficiendi sunt sicut et illi. 6:11 kai edoqhsan ekastoij stolai leukai kai erreqh autoij ina anapauswntai eti xronon mikron ewj ou plhrwsontai kai oi sundouloi autwn kai oi adelfoi autwn oi mellontej apokteinesqai wj kai autoi 6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
6:12 Et vidi cum aperuisset sigillum sextum: et ecce terræmotus magnus factus est, et sol factus est niger tamquam saccus cilicinus: et luna tota facta est sicut sanguis: 6:12 kai eidon ote hnoicen thn sfragida thn ekthn kai idou seismoj megaj egeneto kai o hlioj egeneto melaj wj sakkoj trixinoj kai h selhnh egeneto wj aima 6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
6:13 et stellæ de cælo ceciderunt super terram, sicut ficus emittit grossos suos cum a vento magno movetur: 6:13 kai oi asterej tou ouranou epesan eij thn ghn wj sukh ballei touj olunqouj authj upo megalou anemou seiomenh 6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
6:14 et cælum recessit sicut liber involutus: et omnis mons, et insulæ de locis suis motæ sunt: 6:14 kai ouranoj apexwrisqh wj biblion eilissomenon kai pan oroj kai nhsoj ek twn topwn autwn ekinhqhsan 6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
6:15 et reges terræ, et principes, et tribuni, et divites, et fortes, et omnis servus, et liber absconderunt se in speluncis, et in petris montium: 6:15 kai oi basileij thj ghj kai oi megistanej kai oi plousioi kai oi xiliarxoi kai oi dunatoi kai paj douloj kai paj eleuqeroj ekruyan eautouj eij ta sphlaia kai eij taj petraj twn orewn 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;

6:17 quoniam venit dies magnus iræ ipsorum: et quis poterit stare? 6:17 oti hlqen h hmera h megalh thj orghj autou kai tij dunatai staqhnai 6:17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
