Revelation 5:1 Et vidi in dextera sedentis supra thronum, librum scriptum intus et foris, signatum sigillis septem. Revelation 5:1 kai eidon epi thn decian tou kaqhmenou epi tou qronou biblion gegrammenon eswqen kai opisqen katesfragismenon sfragisin epta Revelation 5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
5:2 Et vidi angelum fortem, prædicantem voce magna: Quis est dignus aperire librum, et solvere signacula ejus? 5:2 kai eidon aggelon isxuron khrussonta fwnh megalh tij estin acioj anoicai to biblion kai lusai taj sfragidaj autou 5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
5:3 Et nemo poterat neque in cælo, neque in terra, neque subtus terram aperire librum, neque respicere illum. 5:3 kai oudeij hdunato en tw ouranw oude epi thj ghj oude upokatw thj ghj anoicai to biblion oude blepein auto 5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
5:4 Et ego flebam multum, quoniam nemo dignus inventus est aperire librum, nec videre eum. 5:4 kai egw eklaion polla oti oudeij acioj eureqh anoicai kai anagnwnai to biblion oute blepein auto 5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5:5 Et unus de senioribus dixit mihi: Ne fleveris: ecce vicit leo de tribu Juda, radix David, aperire librum, et solvere septem signacula ejus.5:5 kai eij ek twn presbuterwn legei moi mh klaie idou enikhsen o lewn o wn ek thj fulhj iouda h riza dabid anoicai to biblion kai lusai taj epta sfragidaj autou 5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
5:6 Et vidi: et ecce in medio throni et quatuor animalium, et in medio seniorum, Agnum stantem tamquam occisum, habentem cornua septem, et oculos septem: qui sunt septem spiritus Dei, missi in omnem terram. 5:6 kai eidon kai idou en mesw tou qronou kai twn tessarwn zwwn kai en mesw twn presbuterwn arnion esthkoj wj esfagmenon exon kerata epta kai ofqalmouj epta oi eisin ta epta tou qeou pneumata ta apestalmena eij pasan thn ghn 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.
5:7 Et venit: et accepit de dextera sedentis in throno librum. 5:7 kai hlqen kai eilhfen to biblion ek thj deciaj tou kaqhmenou epi tou qronou 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
5:8 Et cum aperuisset librum, quatuor animalia, et viginti quatuor seniores ceciderunt coram Agno, habentes singuli citharas, et phialas aureas plenas odoramentorum, quæ sunt orationes sanctorum: 5:8 kai ote elaben to biblion ta tessara zwa kai oi eikositessarej presbuteroi epeson enwpion tou arniou exontej ekastoj kiqaraj kai fialaj xrusaj gemousaj qumiamatwn ai eisin ai proseuxai twn agiwn 5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
5:9 et cantabant canticum novum, dicentes: Dignus es, Domine, accipere librum, et aperire signacula ejus: quoniam occisus es, et redemisti nos Deo in sanguine tuo ex omni tribu, et lingua, et populo, et natione: 5:9 kai adousin wdhn kainhn legontej acioj ei labein to biblion kai anoicai taj sfragidaj autou oti esfaghj kai hgorasaj tw qew hmaj en tw aimati sou ek pashj fulhj kai glwsshj kai laou kai eqnouj 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

5:11 Et vidi, et audivi vocem angelorum multorum in circuitu throni, et animalium, et seniorum: et erat numerus eorum millia millium, 5:11 kai eidon kai hkousa fwnhn aggelwn pollwn kukloqen tou qronou kai twn zwwn kai twn presbuterwn kai hn o ariqmoj autwn muriadej muriadwn kai xiliadej xiliadwn 5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
5:12 dicentium voce magna: Dignus est Agnus, qui occisus est, accipere virtutem, et divinitatem, et sapientiam, et fortitudinem, et honorem, et gloriam, et benedictionem. 5:12 legontej fwnh megalh acion estin to arnion to esfagmenon labein thn dunamin kai plouton kai sofian kai isxun kai timhn kai docan kai eulogian 5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
5:13 Et omnem creaturam, quæ in cælo est, et super terram, et sub terra, et quæ sunt in mari, et quæ in eo: omnes audivi dicentes: Sedenti in throno, et Agno, benedictio et honor, et gloria, et potestas in sæcula sæculorum. 5:13 kai pan ktisma o estin en tw ouranw kai en th gh kai upokatw thj ghj kai epi thj qalasshj a estin kai ta en autoij panta hkousa legontaj tw kaqhmenw epi tou qronou kai tw arniw h eulogia kai h timh kai h doca kai to kratoj eij touj aiwnaj twn aiwnwn 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard i saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
5:14 Et quatuor animalia dicebant: Amen. Et viginti quatuor seniores ceciderunt in facies suas: et adoraverunt viventem in sæcula sæculorum. 5:14 kai ta tessara zwa elegon amhn kai oi eikositessarej presbuteroi epesan kai prosekunhsan zwnti eij touj aiwnaj twn aiwnwn 5:14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.
