Revelation 22:1 Et ostendit mihi fluvium aquæ vitæ, splendidum tamquam crystallum, procedentem de sede Dei et Agni. Revelation 22:1 kai edeicen moi kaqaron potamon udatoj zwhj lampron wj krustallon ekporeuomenon ek tou qronou tou qeou kai tou arniou Revelation 22:1 And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
22:2 In medio plateæ ejus, et ex utraque parte fluminis, lignum vitæ, afferens fructus duodecim per menses singulos, reddens fructum suum et folia ligni ad sanitatem gentium. 22:2 en mesw thj plateiaj authj kai tou potamou enteuqen kai enteuqen culon zwhj poioun karpouj dwdeka kata mhna ena ekaston apodidoun ton karpon autou kai ta fulla tou culou eij qerapeian twn eqnwn 22:2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.
22:3 Et omne maledictum non erit amplius: sed sedes Dei et Agni in illa erunt, et servi ejus servient illi. 22:3 kai pan katanaqema ouk estai eti kai o qronoj tou qeou kai tou arniou en auth estai kai oi douloi autou latreusousin autw 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
22:4 Et videbunt faciem ejus: et nomen ejus in frontibus eorum. 22:4 kai oyontai to proswpon autou kai to onoma autou epi twn metwpwn autwn 22:4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.
22:5 Et nox ultra non erit: et non egebunt lumine lucernæ, neque lumine solis, quoniam Dominus Deus illuminabit illos, et regnabunt in sæcula sæculorum. 22:5 kai nuc ouk estai ekei kai xreian ouk exousin luxnou kai fwtoj hliou oti kurioj o qeoj fwtizei autouj kai basileusousin eij touj aiwnaj twn aiwnwn 22:5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
22:6 Et dixit mihi: Hæc verba fidelissima sunt, et vera. Et Dominus Deus spirituum prophetarum misit angelum suum ostendere servis suis quæ oportet fieri cito. 22:6 kai eipen moi outoi oi logoi pistoi kai alhqinoi kai kurioj o qeoj twn agiwn profhtwn apesteilen ton aggelon autou deicai toij douloij autou a dei genesqai en taxei 22:6 And he said unto me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to shew unto his servants the things which must shortly be done.
22:7 Et ecce venio velociter. Beatus, qui custodit verba prophetiæ libri hujus. 22:7 idou erxomai taxu makarioj o thrwn touj logouj thj profhteiaj tou bibliou toutou 22:7 Behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keepeth the sayings of the prophecy of this book.
22:8 Et ego Joannes, qui audivi, et vidi hæc. Et postquam audissem, et vidissem, cecidi ut adorarem ante pedes angeli, qui mihi hæc ostendebat: 22:8 kai egw iwannhj o blepwn tauta kai akouwn kai ote hkousa kai ebleya epesa proskunhsai emprosqen twn podwn tou aggelou tou deiknuontoj moi tauta 22:8 And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel which shewed me these things.
22:9 et dixit mihi: Vide ne feceris: conservus enim tuus sum, et fratrum tuorum prophetarum, et eorum qui servant verba prophetiæ libri hujus: Deum adora. 22:9 kai legei moi ora mh sundouloj sou gar eimi kai twn adelfwn sou twn profhtwn kai twn thrountwn touj logouj tou bibliou toutou tw qew proskunhson 22:9 Then saith he unto me, See thou do it not: for I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren the prophets, and of them which keep the sayings of this book: worship God.
Revelation 22:10 Et dicit mihi: Ne signaveris verba prophetiæ libri hujus: tempus enim prope est. Revelation 22:10 kai legei moi mh sfragishj touj logouj thj profhteiaj tou bibliou toutou oti o kairoj egguj estin Revelation 22:10 And he saith unto me, Seal not the sayings of the prophecy of this book: for the time is at hand.
22:11 Qui nocet, noceat adhuc: et qui in sordibus est, sordescat adhuc: et qui justus est, justificetur adhuc: et sanctus, sanctificetur adhuc. 22:11 o adikwn adikhsatw eti kai o rupwn rupwsatw eti kai o dikaioj dikaiwqhtw eti kai o agioj agiasqhtw eti 22:11 He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.
22:12 Ecce venio cito, et merces mea mecum est, reddere unicuique secundum opera sua. 22:12 kai idou erxomai taxu kai o misqoj mou met emou apodounai ekastw wj to ergon autou estai 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
22:13 Ego sum alpha et omega, primus et novissimus, principium et finis. 22:13 egw eimi to a kai to w arxh kai teloj o prwtoj kai o esxatoj 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.
22:14 Beati, qui lavant stolas suas in sanguine Agni: ut sit potestas eorum in ligno vitæ, et per portas intrent in civitatem. 22:14 makarioi oi poiountej taj entolaj autou ina estai h ecousia autwn epi to culon thj zwhj kai toij pulwsin eiselqwsin eij thn polin 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.
22:15 Foris canes, et venefici, et impudici, et homicidæ, et idolis servientes, et omnis qui amat et facit mendacium. 22:15 ecw de oi kunej kai oi farmakoi kai oi pornoi kai oi foneij kai oi eidwlolatrai kai paj o filwn kai poiwn yeudoj 22:15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.
22:16 Ego Jesus misi angelum meum testificari vobis hæc in ecclesiis. Ego sum radix, et genus David, stella splendida et matutina. 22:16 egw ihsouj epemya ton aggelon mou marturhsai umin tauta epi taij ekklhsiaij egw eimi h riza kai to genoj tou dabid o asthr o lamproj kai orqrinoj 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.
22:17 Et spiritus, et sponsa dicunt: Veni. Et qui audit, dicat: Veni. Et qui sitit, veniat: et qui vult, accipiat aquam vitæ, gratis. 22:17 kai to pneuma kai h numfh legousin elqe kai o akouwn eipatw elqe kai o diywn elqetw kai o qelwn lambanetw to udwr zwhj dwrean 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.
22:18 Contestor enim omni audienti verba prophetiæ libri hujus: si quis apposuerit ad hæc, apponet Deus super illum plagas scriptas in libro isto. 22:18 summarturoumai gar panti akouonti touj logouj thj profhteiaj tou bibliou toutou ean tij epitiqh proj tauta epiqhsei o qeoj ep auton taj plhgaj taj gegrammenaj en bibliw toutw 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
22:19 Et si quis diminuerit de verbis libri prophetiæ hujus, auferet Deus partem ejus de libro vitæ, et de civitate sancta, et de his quæ scripta sunt in libro isto: 22:19 kai ean tij afairh apo twn logwn biblou thj profhteiaj tauthj afairhsei o qeoj to meroj autou apo biblou thj zwhj kai ek thj polewj thj agiaj kai twn gegrammenwn en bibliw toutw 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Revelation 22:20 dicit qui testimonium perhibet istorum. Etiam venio cito: amen. Veni, Domine Jesu. Revelation 22:20 legei o marturwn tauta nai erxomai taxu amhn nai erxou kurie ihsou Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
22:21 Gratia Domini nostri Jesu Christi cum omnibus vobis. Amen. 22:21 h xarij tou kuriou hmwn ihsou xristou meta pantwn umwn amhn 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
