Revelation 3:1 Et angelo ecclesiæ Sardis scribe: Hæc dicit qui habet septem spiritus Dei, et septem stellas: Scio opera tua, quia nomen habes quod vivas, et mortuus es. Revelation 3:1 kai tw aggelw thj en sardesin ekklhsiaj grayon tade legei o exwn ta epta pneumata tou qeou kai touj epta asteraj oida sou ta erga oti to onoma exeij oti zhj kai nekroj ei Revelation 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.
3:2 Esto vigilans, et confirma cetera, quæ moritura erant. Non enim invenio opera tua plena coram Deo meo. 3:2 ginou grhgorwn kai sthricon ta loipa a mellei apoqanein ou gar eurhka sou ta erga peplhrwmena enwpion tou qeou 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.
3:3 In mente ergo habe qualiter acceperis, et audieris, et serva, et pœnitentiam age. Si ergo non vigilaveris, veniam ad te tamquam fur et nescies qua hora veniam ad te. 3:3 mnhmoneue oun pwj eilhfaj kai hkousaj kai threi kai metanohson ean oun mh grhgorhshj hcw epi se wj klepthj kai ou mh gnwj poian wran hcw epi se 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
3:4 Sed habes pauca nomina in Sardis qui non inquinaverunt vestimenta sua: et ambulabunt mecum in albis, quia digni sunt. 3:4 exeij oliga onomata kai en sardesin a ouk emolunan ta imatia autwn kai peripathsousin met emou en leukoij oti acioi eisin 3:4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
3:5 Qui vicerit, sic vestietur vestimentis albis, et non delebo nomen ejus de libro vitæ, et confitebor nomen ejus coram Patre meo, et coram angelis ejus. 3:5 o nikwn outoj peribaleitai en imatioij leukoij kai ou mh ecaleiyw to onoma autou ek thj biblou thj zwhj kai ecomologhsomai to onoma autou enwpion tou patroj mou kai enwpion twn aggelwn autou 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
3:6 Qui habet aurem, audiat quid Spiritus dicat ecclesiis. 3:6 o exwn ouj akousatw ti to pneuma legei taij ekklhsiaij 3:6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
3:7 Et angelo Philadelphiæ ecclesiæ scribe: Hæc dicit Sanctus et Verus, qui habet clavem David: qui aperit, et nemo claudit: claudit, et nemo aperit: 3:7 kai tw aggelw thj en filadelfeia ekklhsiaj grayon tade legei o agioj o alhqinoj o exwn thn kleida tou dabid o anoigwn kai oudeij kleiei kai kleiei kai oudeij anoigei 3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;
3:8 Scio opera tua. Ecce dedi coram te ostium apertum, quod nemo potest claudere: quia modicam habes virtutem, et servasti verbum meum, et non negasti nomen meum. 3:8 oida sou ta erga idou dedwka enwpion sou quran anewgmenhn kai oudeij dunatai kleisai authn oti mikran exeij dunamin kai ethrhsaj mou ton logon kai ouk hrnhsw to onoma mou 3:8 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.
3:9 Ecce dabo de synagoga Satanæ, qui dicunt se Judæos esse, et non sunt, sed mentiuntur: ecce faciam illos ut veniant, et adorent ante pedes tuos: et scient quia ego dilexi te, 3:9 idou didwmi ek thj sunagwghj tou satana twn legontwn eautouj ioudaiouj einai kai ouk eisin alla yeudontai idou poihsw autouj ina hcwsin kai proskunhswsin enwpion twn podwn sou kai gnwsin oti egw hgaphsa se 3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.
Revelation 3:10 quoniam servasti verbum patientiæ meæ, et ego servabo te ab hora tentationis, quæ ventura est in orbem universum tentare habitantes in terra. Revelation 3:10 oti ethrhsaj ton logon thj upomonhj mou kagw se thrhsw ek thj wraj tou peirasmou thj melloushj erxesqai epi thj oikoumenhj olhj peirasai touj katoikountaj epi thj ghj Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
3:11 Ecce venio cito: tene quod habes, ut nemo accipiat coronam tuam. 3:11 idou erxomai taxu kratei o exeij ina mhdeij labh ton stefanon sou 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
3:12 Qui vicerit, faciam illum columnam in templo Dei mei, et foras non egredietur amplius: et scribam super eum nomen Dei mei, et nomen civitatis Dei mei novæ Jerusalem, quæ descendit de cælo a Deo meo, et nomen meum novum. 3:12 o nikwn poihsw auton stulon en tw naw tou qeou mou kai ecw ou mh ecelqh eti kai grayw ep auton to onoma tou qeou mou kai to onoma thj polewj tou qeou mou thj kainhj ierousalhm h katabainei ek tou ouranou apo tou qeou mou kai to onoma mou to kainon 3:12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

3:14 Et angelo Laodiciæ ecclesiæ scribe: Hæc dicit: Amen, testis fidelis et verus, qui est principium creaturæ Dei. 3:14 kai tw aggelw thj ekklhsiaj laodikewn grayon tade legei o amhn o martuj o pistoj kai alhqinoj h arxh thj ktisewj tou qeou 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
3:15 Scio opera tua: quia neque frigidus es, neque calidus: utinam frigidus esses, aut calidus: 3:15 oida sou ta erga oti oute yuxroj ei oute zestoj ofelon yuxroj eihj h zestoj 3:15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.
3:16 sed quia tepidus es, et nec frigidus, nec calidus, incipiam te evomere ex ore meo: 3:16 outwj oti xliaroj ei kai oute yuxroj oute zestoj mellw se emesai ek tou stomatoj mou 3:16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
3:17 quia dicis: Quod dives sum, et locupletatus, et nullius egeo: et nescis quia tu es miser, et miserabilis, et pauper, et cæcus, et nudus. 3:17 oti legeij oti plousioj eimi kai peplouthka kai oudenoj xreian exw kai ouk oidaj oti su ei o talaipwroj kai eleeinoj kai ptwxoj kai tufloj kai gumnoj 3:17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
3:18 Suadeo tibi emere a me aurum ignitum probatum, ut locuples fias, et vestimentis albis induaris, et non appareat confusio nuditatis tuæ, et collyrio inunge oculos tuos ut videas. 3:18 sumbouleuw soi agorasai par emou xrusion pepurwmenon ek puroj ina plouthshj kai imatia leuka ina peribalh kai mh fanerwqh h aisxunh thj gumnothtoj sou kai kollourion egxrison touj ofqalmouj sou ina blephj 3:18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.
3:19 Ego quos amo, arguo, et castigo. Æmulare ergo, et pœnitentiam age. 3:19 egw osouj ean filw elegxw kai paideuw zhlwson oun kai metanohson 3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
Revelation 3:20 Ecce sto ad ostium, et pulso: si quis audierit vocem meam, et aperuerit mihi januam, intrabo ad illum, et cœnabo cum illo, et ipse mecum. 3:21 Qui vicerit, dabo ei sedere mecum in throno meo: sicut et ego vici, et sedi cum Patre meo in throno ejus. 3:21 o nikwn dwsw autw kaqisai met emou en tw qronw mou wj kagw enikhsa kai ekaqisa meta tou patroj mou en tw qronw autou 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
3:22 Qui habet aurem, audiat quid Spiritus dicat ecclesiis. 3:22 o exwn ouj akousatw ti to pneuma legei taij ekklhsiaij 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
