Revelation 18:1 kai meta tauta eidon allon aggelon katabainonta ek tou ouranou exonta ecousian megalhn kai h gh efwtisqh ek thj dochj autou Revelation 18:1 And after these things I saw another angel come down from heaven, having great power; and the earth was lightened with his glory.
18:2 Et exclamavit in fortitudine, dicens: Cecidit, cecidit Babylon magna: et facta est habitatio dæmoniorum, et custodia omnis spiritus immundi, et custodia omnis volucris immundæ, et odibilis: 18:2 kai ekracen en isxui fwnh megalh legwn epesen epesen babulwn h megalh kai egeneto katoikhthrion daimonwn kai fulakh pantoj pneumatoj akaqartou kai fulakh pantoj orneou akaqartou kai memishmenou 18:2 And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.

18:4 Et audivi aliam vocem de cælo, dicentem: Exite de illa populus meus: ut ne participes sitis delictorum ejus, et de plagis ejus non accipiatis. 18:4 kai hkousa allhn fwnhn ek tou ouranou legousan ecelqete ec authj o laoj mou ina mh sugkoinwnhshte taij amartiaij authj kai ina mh labhte ek twn plhgwn authj 18:4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
18:5 Quoniam pervenerunt peccata ejus usque ad cælum, et recordatus est Dominus iniquitatum ejus. 18:5 oti ekollhqhsan authj ai amartiai axri tou ouranou kai emnhmoneusen o qeoj ta adikhmata authj 18:5 For her sins have reached unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
18:6 Reddite illi sicut et ipsa reddidit vobis: et duplicate duplicia secundum opera ejus: in poculo, quo miscuit, miscete illi duplum. 18:6 apodote auth wj kai auth apedwken umin kai diplwsate auth dipla kata ta erga authj en tw pothriw w ekerasen kerasate auth diploun 18:6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her double.

18:8 Ideo in una die venient plagæ ejus, mors, et luctus, et fames, et igne comburetur: quia fortis est Deus, qui judicabit illam. 18:8 dia touto en mia hmera hcousin ai plhgai authj qanatoj kai penqoj kai limoj kai en puri katakauqhsetai oti isxuroj kurioj o qeoj o krinwn authn 18:8 Therefore shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the Lord God who judgeth her.

Revelation 18:10 longe stantes propter timorem tormentorum ejus, dicentes: Væ, væ civitas illa magna Babylon, civitas illa fortis: quoniam una hora venit judicium tuum. Revelation 18:10 apo makroqen esthkotej dia ton fobon tou basanismou authj legontej ouai ouai h polij h megalh babulwn h polij h isxura oti en mia wra hlqen h krisij sou Revelation 18:10 Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
18:11 Et negotiatores terræ flebunt, et lugebunt super illam: quoniam merces eorum nemo emet amplius: 18:11 kai oi emporoi thj ghj klaiousin kai penqousin ep auth oti ton gomon autwn oudeij agorazei ouketi 18:11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

18:15 Mercatores horum, qui divites facti sunt, ab ea longe stabunt propter timorem tormentorum ejus, flentes, ac lugentes, 18:15 oi emporoi toutwn oi plouthsantej ap authj apo makroqen sthsontai dia ton fobon tou basanismou authj klaiontej kai penqountej 18:15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
18:16 et dicentes: Væ, væ civitas illa magna, quæ amicta erat bysso, et purpura, et cocco, et deaurata erat auro, et lapide pretioso, et margaritis: 18:16 kai legontej ouai ouai h polij h megalh h peribeblhmenh bussinon kai porfuroun kai kokkinon kai kexruswmenh en xrusw kai liqw timiw kai margaritaij 18:16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls!
18:17 quoniam una hora destitutæ sunt tantæ divitiæ, et omnis gubernator, et omnis qui in lacum navigat, et nautæ, et qui in mari operantur, longe steterunt, 18:17 oti mia wra hrhmwqh o tosoutoj ploutoj kai paj kubernhthj kai paj epi twn ploiwn o omiloj kai nautai kai osoi thn qalassan ergazontai apo makroqen esthsan 18:17 For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18:18 et clamaverunt videntes locum incendii ejus, dicentes: Quæ similis civitati huic magnæ? 18:18 kai ekrazon orwntej ton kapnon thj purwsewj authj legontej tij omoia th polei th megalh 18:18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, What city is like unto this great city!
18:19 et miserunt pulverem super capita sua, et clamaverunt flentes, et lugentes, dicentes: Væ, væ civitas illa magna, in qua divites facti sunt omnes, qui habebant naves in mari de pretiis ejus: quoniam una hora desolata est. 18:19 kai ebalon xoun epi taj kefalaj autwn kai ekrazon klaiontej kai penqountej legontej ouai ouai h polij h megalh en h eplouthsan pantej oi exontej ploia en th qalassh ek thj timiothtoj authj oti mia wra hrhmwqh 18:19 And they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, alas, alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
Revelation 18:20 Exsulta super eam cælum, et sancti apostoli, et prophetæ: quoniam judicavit Deus judicium vestrum de illa. Revelation 18:20 eufrainou ep authn ourane kai oi agioi apostoloi kai oi profhtai oti ekrinen o qeoj to krima umwn ec authj Revelation 18:20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and prophets; for God hath avenged you on her.
18:21 Et sustulit unus angelus fortis lapidem quasi molarem magnum, et misit in mare, dicens: Hoc impetu mittetur Babylon civitas illa magna, et ultra jam non invenietur. 18:21 kai hren eij aggeloj isxuroj liqon wj mulon megan kai ebalen eij thn qalassan legwn outwj ormhmati blhqhsetai babulwn h megalh polij kai ou mh eureqh eti 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.
18:22 Et vox citharœdorum, et musicorum, et tibia canentium, et tuba non audietur in te amplius: et omnis artifex omnis artis non invenietur in te amplius: et vox molæ non audietur in te amplius: 18:22 kai fwnh kiqarwdwn kai mousikwn kai aulhtwn kai salpistwn ou mh akousqh en soi eti kai paj texnithj pashj texnhj ou mh eureqh en soi eti kai fwnh mulou ou mh akousqh en soi eti 18:22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;
18:23 et lux lucernæ non lucebit in te amplius: et vox sponsi et sponsæ non audietur adhuc in te: quia mercatores tui erant principes terræ, quia in veneficiis tuis erraverunt omnes gentes. 18:23 kai fwj luxnou ou mh fanh en soi eti kai fwnh numfiou kai numfhj ou mh akousqh en soi eti oti oi emporoi sou hsan oi megistanej thj ghj oti en th farmakeia sou eplanhqhsan panta ta eqnh 18:23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.
18:24 Et in ea sanguis prophetarum et sanctorum inventus est: et omnium qui interfecti sunt in terra. 18:24 kai en auth aima profhtwn kai agiwn eureqh kai pantwn twn esfagmenwn epi thj ghj 18:24 And in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were slain upon the earth.
